Program Summary:
The HDSE Leadership Intensive is a high-octane, in-person innovation bootcamp that brings together an interdisciplinary cohort of highly motivated students from across the Philippines for a week of inspiration, collaboration, and social innovation. Set on the beautiful UP Diliman campus, this hands-on, hearts-on experience fosters transformative learning and entrepreneurial action.
At the heart of the program are the Creative Inquiry–Iacocca Institute Sustainable Futures Fellows - experienced social innovators and student entrepreneurs who guide participants through their own innovation journeys. They are supported by a global network of faculty experts, social entrepreneurs, and leaders from nonprofits, industry, and academia across India, the Philippines, the United States, and beyond, who provide strategic guidance, share their experiences, and coach participants through the challenges and opportunities of social innovation and global leadership.
Together, these changemakers co-create sustainable, scalable solutions that advance local communities and systems. Over the course of the week, teams develop actionable blueprints for transformative social ventures with the potential to address complex challenges such as those related to health, education, food-water-energy systems, and climate change. The most promising ventures earn seed funding and mentorship to accelerate real-world impact. At its core, the HDSE Leadership Intensive drives sustainable impact—empowering students to lead with purpose, mobilize others, and create lasting change.
