Project Description:
How do we educate our extended community about their environment through immersive learning with virtual reality (VR), AI, and game-based experiences?
This project is designing, developing, testing, and implementing an immersive virtual reality project for non-formal and formal education to promote engagement and learning about spatial watershed features, industrial history, and environmental issues in the Lehigh River watershed. This project is using a novel design and development approach with VR, AI, GIS, along with game design features to broaden access to learning experiences for adolescents and adults with a collaboration of non-formal STEM and environmental education centers and industrial history museums in the Lehigh River watershed. Team members will learn Unity programming skills and develop immersive games for learning. All majors are welcome, particularly those with an interest in VR, AI, and developing games for learning.
**NOTE: This project has a set weekly meeting time, Mondays from 4:45-6:15pm. Students applying for this project must be available at that time.
