Project Description:
How can we teach AI to young learners so that it becomes more of a tool for problem-solving?
This project will be working on a major educational challenge: building a better way to teach AI to K-12 and college students. We will be designing and building engaging problem-solving modules that blend AI concepts with real-world subjects like biology, civics, and art, and will integrate these modules into a novel, interactive platform called AIResolver. One module, for example, might use machine learning to sort endangered species, or train a simple AI to write poetry. The innovations developed by this team will transform AI literacy in Lehigh Valley-area schools and make it accessible, exciting, and future-focused. We will be helping schools prepare students for a future powered by AI technologies.
No prior education experience is necessary; students from all majors and interests are welcome to apply.
