Project Description:
The dream of this project is to improve the human condition through the use of blockchain technology. Blockchain automates the creation of trust between untrusting parties and offers the potential to broaden access to information, financial services, etc. This technology mixes transparency and privacy with regulatability by allowing proof of compliance without detailed data disclosure. Students working on this project will be involved in one of a variety of blockchain projects, including performance benchmarking, central-bank digital currencies, algorithms for "zero-knowledge" proofs, and more. The program offers opportunities for students to connect with communities and have a meaningful impact on the field. Ideal applicants will have strong coding skills and blockchain system experience.
