Project Description:
The project aims to enhance the Lehigh Valley LGBT Community Archive and make it available to the public through exhibitions and events. The team will explore innovative ways to showcase the archives and impact the region and the fields of public humanities and critical archival studies by promoting intergenerational knowledge-production, increasing public understanding, raising awareness of LGBTQ contributions, and fostering democratic engagement in civic life. Students will develop social media campaigns and a physical exhibition showcasing the significance of regional LGBTQ archives. Ideal students will have skills in social media, physical exhibition creation, public humanities, communication, writing, graphic design, and website design (WordPress).
