Project Description:
NeuroSalon is a project exploring the tremendous capacity of the brain for growth, plasticity and creativity. Through various art forms, we seek to lower the barriers to scientific understanding and to convey our belief that creativity is within everyone, and everyone’s reach. We create dance, music, and art to illustrate the beauty and power of the brain. We hold workshops and “art shops” to engage the audience in play and the act of creation. Fostering the optimal brain conditions for plasticity and creativity promotes our brain heath, emotional resilience and overall well being. Students with a background in writing, design, art, music, biology, psychology, education or marketing are encouraged to apply.
