The Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) is a college program offered at more than 1,700 colleges and universities across the United States that prepares young adults to become officers in the U.S. Military.

Timeline: ROTC follows RAS add/drop deadlines. Army scholarship deadlines differ.

Cost/Funding: No additional fees. Must be a registered student. Scholarships available. Contracted Cadets receive $420.00 a month during the academic school year. Academic credit offered. The number of credits accepted towards a major may differ. Levels: Freshman 1 credit; Sophomore 1; Junior 2; Senior 3. This is a 4 year program so a class in each level must be completed. Graduate students are eligible if they have a min of 2 years available to pursue ROTC courses.
